Behind the mask: Cast & creatives

Vivienne Ekwulugo

Vocalist

Vivienne is a performer, singer, songwriter and actress from London. Her very first public performance was singing The Jackson 5’s Ben at the age of 11 in a school talent show.

Vivienne signed her first record contract at the age of 17, performing as part of a band and as a solo artist. She went on to be a finalist in the national BBC Radio 2 Sold on Song, song writing competition in 2004, which was judged that year by Beverley Knight, Robin Gibb and Graham Gouldman. Since then, she has written two studio albums and was honoured to co-write a third album, Cover Girl, with one of the UK’s leading choral composers Richard Allain.

Vivienne studied musical theatre and acting independently at City Academy London, where she discovered her passion for acting through song. Whilst training, Vivienne played the role of Ms Esther Sherman in Fame as well as Deloris Van Cartier / Sister Mary Clarence in Sister Act at the Alban Arena.

Thriller Live marks Vivienne’s West End debut, and she is honoured to be part of such a talented cast and team of creatives. Vivienne would like to thank City Academy London, with a special thanks to Rebecca Wicking for her wonderful guidance and continued encouragement. Special thanks also goes to her family and friends for their ongoing love and support.
