Mike Bradley

Mike has been the resident drummer for Thriller Live in the West End since it began in early 2009. He has also played in many other West End shows and tours in the last decade including Thriller Live (UK & Scandinavia), The Rat Pack (London Savoy and UK & European tours), Dirty Dancing (London Aldwych), The Genius of Ray Charles (London Haymarket), Soul Train (Victoria Palace & UK tour), Blood Brothers (Phoenix Theatre & UK tour) and Jesus Christ Superstar (Scandinavian tour).

Over 30 years working all around the world, Mike regularly features in many of the UK’s leading jazz ensembles including Sax Appeal (which released its sixth album in 2014), the Simon Allen Quintet, John Etheridge’s Frank Zappa tribute band, Zappatistas, Julian Stringle Dream Band, the Winston Rollins Big Band, the Tower Of Power tribute band, Monsters On A Leash, the Zimbe African choral project and with jazz-soul singer Zena James. He appears on the albums of Natalie Cole and David Cassidy as well as numerous jazz albums comprising his own original material.  He has toured the world with acclaimed jazz close harmony group The Swingle Singers and played regularly with Ronnie Scott, Jim Mullen, John Dankworth & Cleo Laine, Rick Astley and Georgie Fame.

In 1989 he co-founded the popular fusion band Roadside Picnic, recording two critically acclaimed albums and headlining at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Montreux Jazz Festival, WOMAD and many other leading music festivals.
