Adam's musical journey began at a very young age. At 9 years old he began studies in classical piano, also learning percussion a few years later. Inspired by such geniuses as Giovanni Hidalgo and Michel Camilo he immersed himself in Afro-Cuban music, focusing on congas, bongos and timbales. By age 15 he was touring internationally.
When not on the road he gained a great deal of experience as a session-man in recording studios, including for major labels such as EMI. He has performed and recorded with numerous pop bands as well as flamenco, salsa and latin-jazz bands. He has been seen and his compositions heard on all kinds of radio and television stations.
Adam has been resident in the UK for around a decade now. Within weeks of arrival he was asked to play Percussion & Keyboards on touring Michael Jackson show Thriller Live. Alongside a cast many of whom worked with Michael, this took him all over Europe and as far away as Greece, China and South Africa. Immediately afterwards he was asked to join the orchestra of Disney's The Lion King (the most successful production in history). In 2014 Adam joined Inala, collaborating with Grammy winners Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Together they even performed for the Royal Family at the Royal Variety Performance and the project got nominated for the Grammys in 2016 in World Music category.
2015 sees Adam hit the road again with Strictly Come Dancing star Brendan Cole and later he joins the Magic Radio house band led by Tim Maple where he had the privilege to perform with Anastacia, Rick Astley, Seal, Ronan Keating, James Blunt, Gregory Porter, George Ezra, Lemar, Kim Wilde, Beverley Knight, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Mel C, Chris Farlowe, Emeli Sande, Ward Thomas, Marisha Wallace, James Morrison, Jack Savoretti, Andreya Triana, Rebeca Fergusson, Joe McElderry, The Shires, Jack Pack, Jason Manford, Beau Dermott, . He can also currently be seen with: Nate Williams, The Doug Harper Experiment, and in his Latin jazz trio Duende alongside London's finest jazzers.
Adam is a proud endorsee of Vater sticks, Latin Percussion instruments, RhythmTech shakers, Protection Racket cases, Roland electronic instruments, Cosmic in ear monitors and Porter and Davies tactical monitors.
